Christian dream interpretation
Dreams are believed as being the manifestations of the mind’s process of working on your worries and fears. So you may be asking yourself what the the Bible says about dreams. Well, dreams are the reflections of the stress in your life. Some believe that Satan could be sending you intimidating messages in the form of dreams. But, there is little evidence in the Bible scriptures that Satan can actually do so. The Bible tells you to trust in God, submit yourself to Him and rest assured that He will solve all the problems in your life.
There are lot many ways that a dream could be interpreted. Each religion has its own way of dream interpretation. It is believed that GOD speaks to us through dreams. He guides and counsels us through
our dreams. He establishes covenants with us through our dreams. It is said that we must believe in dreams. Most dreams are symbolic (including biblical dreams), so view them the same way you would view a political cartoon.
At least 95% of your dreams will be about you – your inner self, your current situation, and your relationships. Your dreams come from your heart and will express the things that are important to your heart.
Christian dream interpretation is performed through biblical symbols and the thorough christian dream analysis. These symbols are icons or images, also known as dream symbols, have spiritual significance in the christian dream interpretation. Dreams that occur repeatedly mean that you haven’t yet acted upon or understood the message. Dreams that haven’t been acted upon are dreamt repeatedly until the dreamer has finally realized and acted on it.
Why do Christians in general pay so little attention to dreams? In 60 years of church-going I have never heard a sermon on dreaming as a source of spiritual guidance.
Yet everyone dreams every night, and even those who recall only the occasional dream sense intuitively that there is a meaning, even if they don’t quite get it. Our materialistic modern society has largely lost the art of dream interpretation, or left it to “experts,” yet this is a direct connection with our spiritual life. If we do have significant dreams, how can we be sure that they contain real guidance, and whether the interpretation is not just made up to suit us? That’s a very good question, because our dreams are often trying to open our eyes to things we have not realised, or don’t want to accept, so we laugh them off.
First, commit yourself to recording any dream that’s in your mind when you wake up in the morning, and keep a pen and clipboard ready beside your bed. You are most likely to dream about some emotional issue that is currently on your mind. As you wake, focus inwards on the story or image that may be present, and record it, without censoring, before attending to anything else. Put the date on it. You may not catch a dream every day, but an attitude of expectation helps. When a dream speaks with awesome power, you know you have been in the presence of the Sacred, by whatever name you call it.
